As a child, Lavon Reid loved to brush her teeth. It was this interest in her own oral hygiene that ultimately led her to become a Dental Assistant, first earning an Associate’s Degree from Bunker Hill Community, followed by training in Dental Assisting.
Since joining the CPDA team in September 2014, Lavon has enjoyed being able to make a difference for so many young patients by promoting proper oral health care and teaching them how to brush properly. For her, working with children brightens her day and makes every day in the office different and exciting.
Originally from Brookline, Lavon now lives in Dorchester with her daughter. Her spare time is usually spent enjoying the company of family and friends.
