Dr. Alyssa Kotin is a board certified Orthodontist with a lifelong connection to dentistry. She grew up in Central Massachusetts, where both of her parents were dentists, and has always looked forward to following in their footsteps. Dr. Kotin graduated from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY, with a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology. She then moved back to Boston where she completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and Certificate in Orthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While at Tufts she graduated Cum Laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. In her residency training she was awarded the Furman Scholarship Award in Orthodontics.
Dr. Kotin loves that orthodontics allows her to work with children and young adults, bringing them confidence through their smile. Her training includes a wide range of treatment modalities including both braces and Invisalign and she greatly enjoys the challenge of addressing each patient’s unique case and treatment goals. She currently lives in Boston, and outside of work she likes to spend time with family and friends traveling, trying new restaurants and spending time outside.
