Dr. Shaima Tabari
Orthodontist

Born in Iran and raised in Dubai, Dr. Shaima Tabari is thrilled to be a part of the CPDA team of orthodontists as a Harvard-trained, board certified diplomate of American Board of Orthodontics. After receiving her Bachelors from the University of Toronto with honors, she completed her dental and orthodontic training from the University of Leeds School of Dentistry in Leeds, UK in 2014. She then completed a Fellowship in Craniofacial Genetics from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA before completing a 4-year doctorate program in orthodontics from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine with her thesis focusing on Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
After her specialized dual training in orthodontics in both the UK and the US, she became a Clinical Faculty member at the Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in Michigan and taught orthodontics to residents before relocating back to the Boston area.
Patients visit Dr. Tabari for reasons such as Invisalign, braces, and follow ups on a range of other orthodontic treatment procedures. Dr. Tabari strives to provide patients with holistic individualized treatment plans which best complements and enhances their quality of life.
She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, European Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, International Association of Dental Research, British Society of Orthodontics, and British Dental Association.
In addition to her excellent educational pedigree, she is an avid skier licensed in avalanche search and rescue operations. She also enjoys learning new languages and can so far speak English, French, Farsi, Arabic, Spanish, Hebrew, and Icelandic.
